Acquiring a copy of your lease agreement (or a university letter) will serve as concrete evidence of your residency at a specific address in Texas for the duration stated on the document. This lease may be disjoined as long as it adds to a total of 12 months.
Please Note: Having transactions in the state during this time can help strengthen the argument that you have been residing in Texas for 12 months. In addition, having the apartment utilities under your name is helpful too.

Draft an email to your school's housing office
